I had absolutely no trouble at all accelerating into the triple digits one beautiful summer day when the road was empty. Bet you're Kia doesn't have a 2.0 I4.

Guys, my silverado has a 5.3. Lots of go, just about anywhere i want anytime i want--but if gas gets more expensive, i might have to trade it in on a horse. At least it's not like my old truck was, you had to keep a gas station in sight and it still made you wonder if you were gonna have to push it those last few feet.

7.4 in my GMC and it still gets 16mpg, 454 for those who don't care for the metric system.

I hate to sidetrack any good car discussion, but back to the BATFE line, has anyone heard what the final determination was on Inter-Ordnance? I know that they got stroked again due to the recent ruling that barrels can't be imported, as did most all mil-surp suppliers, but haven't heard whether or not they got their parts back or any rulings for or against them. I think we need to start a petition to either disband or at least severely restrict the BATFE. They are one step away from Nazi'ism (is that a word?) and need to be stopped. They were created for a specific pupose but have grown way too large and arrogant. I know that there are many good folks in their ranks, the leadership is out of control and seems to have a major GOD complex.

Interesting comparison to the Nazis, being an unelected executive agency that does whatever the heck it wants.

Toolman, all i can say to your last post is... AMEN. They have definitely outgrown their purpose and we need to get something done so we can put them over our collective knee and spank them like the brats that they are. We've all heard that this nation was built on the soap box, the jury box, the ballot box, and the cartridge box. Well, the soap box hasnt worked as of yet. The jury box i think they rigged in their favor. The ballot box i hope works. Cause i've seen the cartridge box at work in other countries and i dont want to see it used here. Puts a whole new meaning to "Hope for peace but prepare for war".That is NOT where i want this country going.
