I talked to my mom and dad, Sunday. They live in Norman, Oklahoma. Gas is running $3.389! Something to do with the refinery in Coffeeville, Kansas being down.

This morning when I was going I noticed the price of $2.42 per gal. When I was going home I saw it had jumped to $2.64 per gal. I know all the stations didn't just refill there tanks. They are just charging more because everyone else is doing it.

they charge what will allow them to refill their tanks, at current prices, and still make a profit, yes they will sell gas they got cheap for a high price, but when the prices go down, they are selling expensive gas for cheap prices, it all evens out

i mean when we pay more for cheap gas it evens out the paying less for expensive gas, the stations don't see much of the money from gas, the money is going mostly to the big oil companies

Wink

Oil Companies make 8 cents a gallon off of gas. Blame OPEC, refineries, and the Government for the rest. Retailers make very little. That's the reason they sell everything else.

I wished and hope some of you did watch Lou Dobbs this evening he tore Bush a new AZZ about the middle class getting pushed out because of energy prices and interest rates.
THEN he went into a fit I mean a rampage about Bush wanting Congress to revive the amesty bill.
I've never in the 53 years of life ever heard a news man rip a President to shreads !!!
He caled him stupid, ignorant give the people what they want Deport them and he also hammered away at all the powers that be, that they've turned there backs on the American citizens.
My wife and son stopped what they were doing to here what this guy was saying and he hit the nail on the head !...A.H

IMO MR. Dobbs tells it like it is!
Mr. Chertnov said if they can't get that mess passed they would have to start enforcing the existing laws!!!!!
THAT would be a first! Don't think it will happen during Bush's administration!

Hasn't anybody yet realized that World War III was declared by Al Qaida on Sept. 11, 2001?
And yes, gas prices are going to suck more of our hard earned blood. A national day of driving off without paying should be declared.
And buy up all the guns and ammo you can to prepare for the coming storm in DC. They are not going to get cheaper or easier to get. Who knows when "NOW is the time for all good men...." will come?

My wife and I drove to Monroe, LA. Monday to do some shopping at there Mall and when we got there we went to noticeing the gas prices and they were $ 2.49 to $2.50 a gallon for regular unleaded.
We stopped and filled up at one of the $ 2.49 a gallon stations before we headed back to Arkansas.
Now what I can't understand. We have 2 Big Oil refineries here where I live and I'd almost bet a lot of the gas in No. LA. came from here, so why would it be $ 2.58 a gallon avg. in So.Arkansas. Oh well. We have to live with it, it seems the American way now is to rape the citizens of this still great country and have illegals aliens sneak in and take away our jobs and then we have to pay for there well being and all....Sure something wrong with the way it is now...my ranting...A.H
