Good Mini 30 mags

I have been looking for good hi- cap mags for my Mini- 30. I have gotten Triple- K mags and those are so bad that the magazine will fall out during firing!
Has anyone found any reliable hi- cap mags for my gun?
Replies appreciated!!!!

The Pro-mags someone suggested in anothr thread look decent. I have 4 10-rd pieces of crap that I got with my weapon (bought used). Be careful! Mine don't fall out, I couldn't even get the freakin' things to seat until I Dremel'd the crap outta them.

There are 20rd and 30rd? (maybe) magazines for the Mini 30. They look almost like an AK mag, but have a completely different lock-up. I have a couple of generic 20-rd mags that seem to work pretty well. I don't load em all the way though, and you ahve to be really careful to shove the bullets all the way rearward in the mag or they'll jam. The mini-30 aftermarket mags are really hard to insert sometimes, and don't come out easily. Other times they'll coast right in. You have to get the angle just right, I guess. If you want very reliable feeding and easy insertion, get factory mags. =T

Jelly, that was the problem with my 10-rd generic looking mags. It would seem like they locked and loaded, but they weren't. It was all about finding the right angle, engaging the front post, then snapping the rear into place. Not my idea of an ideal combat situation. With my Dremel and a narrow stone, I ground down the metal around the front hole. Once I took off a few hundreths of an inch, I switched to shaving off the back. These things were welded by a near-sighted wino. Then I had to take a pair of dikes (dykes?) and trued up the top. It was a pain in the rear, but I've got them somewhat squared away. Had I bought them myself, I would have been pissed.

Cool. I might try that on my mags. But yeah, not the most reliable magazine system on the Mini 30. SKS's would do better IMO, in a combat situation. 10 rd stripper clip zips em all in, and you're ready to go again.

I have been dealing with some worn out high Cap mags for my mini 30, finally I gave up fixing and modifying the old after market mags and ordered some of these promag 10 rounders (I live in Cali and 10 rds is the max that I can buy nowadays) These things work, just like the factory ones. I have like 20 of them and I have never had a problem with them.
