Stock Doc ever do a white one ?

Having a bad case of Garanditis and little obsessive compulsive behavior I am wondering what you would recommend for a unfinished Boyd stock. I want to use this rifle in the winter and hope to get a low gloss white stain finish.

I was thinking about white oak stain, what are your thoughts ???

Never used white stains and final color is up to the wood itself. The finish will make or break you. I have seen some wild colors including painted white but not white Oak stain yet. Post some pictures when done if you do it. Rick B
