Heh, losing DSL sucks. I remember playing the original wolfenstein. Don't think I've played return yet. Counterstrike is very nice, but I am totally hooked on Battlefield 2. I got the G3 rifle unlocked and am getting some nice stats finally. Another guy and I were raping the enemy with an M1A2 Abrahms last night. We were running them down with the Linebackers heh. Was a pretty good time, I got my basic armor metal finally. The jets and helicopters are alot harder than the vehicles, armor, and APCs but once you know how to use them you can really wreak some havok on the battlefield.

Battlefield 2 looks really fun. Sorry to say, COunter-Strike is far and away the least fun I've ever had playing any game of any sort. 12 year old kids, hopping around the place like rabbits, making headshots on people from mid air. No thank you. I like Rainbow Six on XBOX, now THERE is a tactical game that puts Counter Strike to shame. the G3 rules there too!

From this it follows that any people you meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination.

I'm currently addicted to Rainbow Six Raven Shield online. The FNC is the greatest rifle in it

I had withdrawl syndromes when Counter-Strike upgraded to 1.6. I had favorites with fast ping ,250. thats fast for dial up. Diffenately had to change tactics with being so slow. Either run in and draw their fire (and die) OR lay back and pick off weakend staglers. Had Ultra Kill several times.
Played with some teens one time on a LAN. Boys kept saying, "Randy's good. He's the Best." Sheezz Louise! Playing at same the speed (ping), this old man kicked Randy's arsss. (most the time) Iv'e been invited back but, yaknow, too many things to do and not enough time.
Those dang 10 year olds can really play.
At one time my name was...... CAn you guess?
changed name to eye nye 6.
Too many nights up till 2am. Wife thought I was looking at porn that late. Heck no! Fragging was more fun.
will
Anywhere to download bots 1.5 version to play without going online?

Klingon Academy, Yeah, I know, but I am not a trekkie. Its just a pretty wicked game. Its hard as heck to find a webgame that isn't rigged though.

Hrm, I mite be able to find a bot proggie for cs 1.5. I know it got chitty when the kids started taking over, but CS:Source is okay. The only downfall to those games is now they FORCE you to use Steam to play their games. The benefit is that all the updates will be automatic. The downfall is it's a pain to play offline, unless you know how.

Star trek- My bro is a trekkie, and he might try the new Star Wars Galaxies if they incorporate more flying in space in the ships. The bum thing I've heard about that game is that if you're a Jedi and you die, that's it. No deposit, no return. So you can't tell anyone you are a jedi, and you can't die.

MOH and COD are pretty nice I must say, I loved the COD singleplayer. BF2 only has skirmishes.

Rainbow six ... I am guessing they have gotten alot better, but I didn't really care for the single player. The new multi-player games look freaking awesome though. I saw the commercial where the military guys were playing it and the one guy had a burrito explode in the microwave. That game looks sweet.

BF2 is tite. Really really tite. I can see how some wouldn't care for CS, especially before they started nailing the cheaters, but it was way fun for awhile. The new CS, CS:Source (half-life2 is the main program) looks very nice and they finally have some anti-cheat capabilities, but it is simply too much just like the other counterstrikes.
