| Senior Member ![]() | During prohibition it was a tax collecting out fit, when prohibition ended they had a hugh staff so they started to go after gun owners,ATF,they became very corrupt and desperate for funding,a typical gumming burracuracy fighting for life so now they include explosive devices,anti-terror,now they have the key and will not only survive, but fluorish. The only problem they face is compitition from the FBI,and they are stronger than the ATF etc. We will have to pay as fodder for them to fight over, gummint running amok! :joker: :joker: :joker: :joker: :smash:

| Moderator ![]() | Trivia about the movie "Lord of War", from the IMDB.com web site: According to Andrew Niccol, the filmmakers worked with actual gunrunners in the making of the film. The tanks lined up for sale were owned by a gunrunner who had to have them back to sell to another country. They used a real stockpile of over 3,000 AK-47s because it was cheaper than getting prop guns. The gunrunners were more cooperative and efficient than the studio or the crew. |

| Senior Member | They(ATF) nab the occasional 18 wheeler full of illegal cigarettes with missing or counterfeit tax stamps. Hadn't heard tell of any revenuers goin into the backwoods in recent years though. I think with the prevalance of PCP and Meth labs, bootleggers fall under the eye of DEA more often now, just as a matter of proximity and... side projects.

Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. From this it follows that any people you meet from time to time are merely the product of a deranged imagination. |

| Senior Member | The "culture" in the Batfe is just plain BAD. there is nothing sacred to them not the constitution, not anything. They do as they wish careing not at all for anyone but themselves. If they choose to direct their attention at you, prepare yourself. their great game is bankrupting people and in the end haveing un proveable charges that where made up in the first place. They destroy peoples lives just for sport. It is a sick thing too see.

| Super Moderator ![]() | I have considered making the first license I apply to the BATF for to be one for distilling alchohol. I would use it for fuel, either for an alchohol burning vehicle or to supplement regular gasoline at the appropriate proportions.
