Upon heading back home from the range (Swiss K31, M39 Finn, SLR101SG AK) I couldn't resist stopping in the little gunstore in the little town.
Wound up buying another M1895 Nagant pistol (have a '38 Tula)
Its a 1925 with the "CCCP" on it with many proofmarks scattered all over the gun.
Advertised as a single action I picked it up sure enough it was.
$135 OTD...anyway to make sure it came this way out of the factory and not retro-fitted with single action trigger innards?
When I try to pull trigger as a double action the cylinder will move ever so slightly but will not index.
Single action is crisp and indexes cylinder fine.
Very nice pistol...98% blue...excellent bore...sharp markings...[
