Should we be sending money overseas

Well with the quake in Pakistan and the Fed's volunteersin 50 Million I have to ask should we be sending 50 million overseas for the quake or should we keep the money here in the USA and use it to restore the south and get our oil prices down?

I say keep the money here.

Well, they are our 'friends' over there, like it or not. They sent us aid for Katrina, so it woud be very snobbish of us to refuse to do the same. Gotta keep the wheels of diplomacy greased.

It's good politics. I was actually surprised to hear we were only sending $50M.

Those of you who think they are helping us . have to look at the fact that they will not let our forces inside of their borders to for Bin Laden I think if the money has to go to them they need to let our troops inside the borders to go after binny

so you want to negotiate a deal with someone who is living under a plastic sheet, with dead people laying around his feet.

Ever wonder why so many far left politicians cry out against the death penalty unless it's Timothy McVeigh? I highly suspect he knew things that they were quite happy he forgot when he died. I don't think he was a terrorist. I think he was part of something bigger that didn't die with him.

Feds at Ruby Ridge weren't terrorists - they were a mere example of how terrible some parts of our government and law enforcement have become. They were a wake up call to something very big, and killing Randy Weaver's family was one of the worst things they could have done for their agenda. They messed up and are worse off for it.

The IRA has recently decried terrorism in light of recent Muslim terrorist attacks, I'm sure in part due to fear of retribution, but also because the last thing they want to be like are the Jihadists.

Is the answer to the question posed by Shaun found in the bibical statement? "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."

I don't mind sending them money, as long as they stay there, We have too many people in this country who hate us and I don't want to see the government open our borders to more refugees from these third world toilets. Few things piss me off more than people who come to the United States for a better life being rude to us. Some of the most rude people I have seen in my life have been from India, Pakistan, and other mid-east countries. You can't fault people seeking a better life, and escapeing oppressed nations. When you bite the hand that feeds you, chances are that hand will punch you in the head.

Thumbs down

I don't know,it seems that when they bite our hands we only bend over, use those same hands to spread our cheeks and ask them to have their way with us some more.
Send money over seas? Why not,we are sending our jobs over there!
I am totally disgusted!
