They did hang burned mutililated bodies of American contractors from bridges that time. I see your point in a way...But whose to know, Pershing may have quelled an uprising before it turned into an all out war like we are in right now and saved thousands of lifes on both sides . I bet if people were asked about Persings tactics the day after 9/11, you would have a hard time finding someone who disagreed.
If you want to take out terror take out Isreal. Its our $12 million a year to that perticular country that pisses off the muslims. Not to mention the amount of spies they send that are caught here each year and sent back with a slap on the wrist. Or the little incident with the USS liberty.
You know there was a Isrealie women on the Opera show the other day (I don't watch it a friend told me, I swear ) bragging about how she doesn't have to pay for housing or medicare or pretty much anything else. You do know its our tax dollors that pay for that. Or maybe they go to bulldozing palestenian homes either way they have some extra cash to spend on its citizenry.

Yeah, Heaven forbid we piss off the muslims. :insane: I think that is one of the problems nowadays, people want to appease everybody who hates us. To put it short, screw them! Like it or not, they will hate us no matter what we do...As long as we're not muslim, we're the enemy. And as for Israel, they (for now) are the only democratic nation in the Middle East and one of our most important allies. I'm all for less waste of taxpayer money but I think that money sent to Israel is a lot less wastefull than many of the programs our guvment has.

Like it or not, they will hate us no matter what we do...As long as we're not muslim, we're the enemy. And as for Israel, they (for now) are the only democratic nation in the Middle East and one of our most important allies. Heck I'm gettin' all warm and fuzzy thinking about it! Hahaa! I agree...Who need this "freedom" thingy anyway. Plus, if we do convert this country to islam, just think of how cool it would be to not have to worry about electric bills, and such. Also, we would get to wear those cool turbin things!

I could give 3 !!!!s less about any muslims or appeasing them, but as long as they stay in their own country I have no problem with them (those who come to this country wanting citizenship is another story). Now if we would just leave them be and not do all of Israel's dirty work they wouldn't have much of a problem with us either. The thing is alot of you guys want to turn a blind eye to the terror that Israel causes, not just to the palestinians, but to our own people through Mossad, because some false profit tells you they are gods chosen people.
