Alright lets say they wrap the heads in piss covered pages from the bible and hang them from upside down crucifixes. Thats bad, but Pershing did what was right?

They did hang burned mutililated bodies of American contractors from bridges that time. I see your point in a way...But whose to know, Pershing may have quelled an uprising before it turned into an all out war like we are in right now and saved thousands of lifes on both sides . I bet if people were asked about Persings tactics the day after 9/11, you would have a hard time finding someone who disagreed.

I was only wanting to show the difference in how terrorist are treated today and in Pershings time, and in my opinion the war on terror is WW3.

If you want to take out terror take out Isreal. Its our $12 million a year to that perticular country that pisses off the muslims. Not to mention the amount of spies they send that are caught here each year and sent back with a slap on the wrist. Or the little incident with the USS liberty.

You know there was a Isrealie women on the Opera show the other day (I don't watch it a friend told me, I swear

) bragging about how she doesn't have to pay for housing or medicare or pretty much anything else. You do know its our tax dollors that pay for that. Or maybe they go to bulldozing palestenian homes either way they have some extra cash to spend on its citizenry.

Yeah, Heaven forbid we piss off the muslims. :insane: I think that is one of the problems nowadays, people want to appease everybody who hates us. To put it short, screw them! Like it or not, they will hate us no matter what we do...As long as we're not muslim, we're the enemy. And as for Israel, they (for now) are the only democratic nation in the Middle East and one of our most important allies. I'm all for less waste of taxpayer money but I think that money sent to Israel is a lot less wastefull than many of the programs our guvment has.

On second thought what do I know? maybe we should just stick our heads in the sand and act like nothing bad will ever happen. besides we have the patriot act and homland security to protect us.

If that does'nt work we all could start praying to the east three times a day and outlaw everything except goats. Life might be boring but at least we will be alive and safe. Heck I'm gettin' all warm and fuzzy thinking about it! We'll just forget that whole "independence thingy" that our ancestors fought for. we don't need it anyhow with allah in our cold black hearts....

Hahaa! I agree...Who need this "freedom" thingy anyway. Plus, if we do convert this country to islam, just think of how cool it would be to not have to worry about electric bills, and such. Also, we would get to wear those cool turbin things!

The solution to Terrorism is simple it involves turning the entire region into one big sheet of glass. the ones that go underground will die under the sheet of glass the ones above will be vaporized or cooked

I could give 3 !!!!s less about any muslims or appeasing them, but as long as they stay in their own country I have no problem with them (those who come to this country wanting citizenship is another story). Now if we would just leave them be and not do all of Israel's dirty work they wouldn't have much of a problem with us either. iflylow74, Rockabilly88 and Shaun are all correct. But, now comes the real problem....dropping the bombs to cure the problem! What are we waiting for? If they can't play like nice little children, (after all, we did give them a country of their own) then we need to take them out of the sand box! :joker:
Besides, a nice pretty glass ash try sounds alot better than all this terrorist crap and maybe we could get our rights back.
