Wink New Element Discovered

Just to keep you up-to-date on the latest discoveries in physics....

NEW ELEMENT DISCOVERED: GOVERNMENTIUM

A major research institution has recently announced the discovery of the heaviest element yet known to science. The new element has been named "Governmentium." Governmentium has 1 neutron, 12 deputy neutrons, 75 assistant neutrons, and 224 deputy assistant neutrons, giving it an atomic mass of 312.

These 312 particles are held together by forces called morons, which are surrounded by vast quantities of lepton-like particles called peons. Since Governmentium has no protons or electrons, it is inert. However, it can be detected, because it impedes every action with which it comes into contact.

A minute amount of Governmentium causes a reaction to take 4 days to complete, when it would normally take less than a second.
Governmentium has a normal half-life of 4 years. It does not decay, but instead undergoes a reorganization in which a portion of the assistant neutrons and deputy neutrons exchange places. In fact, governmentium's mass will actually increase over time since each reorganization will cause more morons to become neutrons, forming
isodopes.

This characteristic of moron promotion leads some scientists to believe that Governmentium is formed whenever morons reach a certain quantity in concentration. This hypothetical quantity is referred to as "Critical Morass." When catalyzed with money, Governmentium becomes Administratium, an element that radiates just as much energy as Governmentium since it has half as many peons but twice as many morons.

..................

Ain't science just grand?

I hope this isn't another slam of our President Bush. He is a decient man doing what he thinks is right. Stop if so , it's un-American . As to his cronies making money hand over fist well that happens when you get so close to power that it rubs off. Democrats are screaming bloody murder , but they are as guilty.

Relax, take two alka selters, and then breath deeply again wetknife. :right: This was a joke on politicians in general. I give'em all the !!!! they equally deserve. No partiality shown here regardless of politicial affilation. Yep...politicians and lawyers too often have too much of that new element, GOVERNMENTIUM, in their hip pockets.

FYI...I am a Bush supporter. Nothing here was specifically directed towards President Bush. Obviously you haven't read my previous threads supporting his actions, both at home and abroad. How could anyone on G&G not appreciate one of his latest stands on the right of legally established gun manufacturer's to be protected from actions of criminals who happen to use different weapons, including guns. :right: I would guess that you support those actions, too, so be cool and enjoy the jokes in the humor room. Serious dialog should be reserved for the Power Keg or other forums.

On a related note-Did you hear about the team of government researchers who discovered a new nerve called the anal-optical nerve?

They noticed that when they pulled the hair on their b*tt, it made their eyes water.
