Who's your favorite television character?

There's been several television shows that I've liked through out the years, Jag, NCIS, MASH, The West Wing, The list goes on, my favorite character would have to be Hawkeye from MASH. Any opinions?

I did like M.A.S.H. Hawkeye was a good character. I think the original cast was the best overall, with Trapper John being a very good partner for Hawkeye. Mashal Matt Dillon would be my pick.

I always enjoyed watching Hugh Heffner ignore all of his beauties on Playboy After Dark...thinking why couldn't I have done that! :jaw:

The starship captain from the TV series Firefly, they just release a film title Serenity. Can't remember his name. He has a great line. "When somebody tries to kill you, you try to kill them right back." Or James T. Kirk.

I grew up before Television, and it has never been something I watch much, except for some sports, documentaries, or movies, and that may not happen more than a few times a year.

It can be said that I grew up before computers, and that is not really true, because Ada Leyseth is considered our first real computer programmer, and she was born in 1815. The Ada Programming Language was named after her, and the Mil Std for the Ada Programming Language is Mil-Std-1815, the year of her birth, in her honor.

That's a hard one. There have been sooooo many.

How about Judge Harry from Night Court. It had a great theme too.

Cliff Claven on Cheers. Lots of others, but I really enjoyed his humor.

Folks who haven't seen it just don't understand, but mine might be John Sheridan from Babylon 5. Played by conservative actor/writer Bruce Boxleitner. An imperfect but good man who cared for many who didn't care for him, but faithfully loved and was loved by one good woman who stood by his side in the worst of times and defended his honor long after he died when the media talking heads tried to revisionistically twist his legacy.

Talking

For me, it's a toss-up between Al Bundy and Homer Simpson. Don't know why, but I sort of identify with them. :cheer:
