I was informed, when they ran my driver's license, it was as per homeland security's directives. I doubt they were lieing just as the post office insisted I fill a form out for homeland security in addition to the form i fill out yearly. You are wrong.....just plain wrong. :joker:

I had to show two forms of ID to pay my P.O. Box rent for a P.O. Box I've had for years. Drivers license and passport. My YL had to show her license and the apartment lease. Pretty soon you won't be able to go to the head without two forms of ID.

Heres one for you, I recently flew from Oakland International Airport to San Diego International Airport, Nothing eventfull happened, However I noticed after security but before we boarded our plane back to oakland that in my Carry-on, which was a diaper bag, the bottom lined with 8oz baby bottles, then on top of that was two boxed of powdered baby formula, and then on top of that was diapers and my leatherman style multi tool. hmmm a row of cylinders on the bottom, with two solid boxed on top of them and then a multi tool, Im sure it had to look like a bomb through the xray machine...... but thats not the worst part, in my wifes purse was her 50,000 volt taser and can of pepper spray. In my dads carry on was his pocket knife. hmmmmmm Im pretty suyyre the xray magician was sleeping. Thought Id share that.

I'm pleased it was just a hoax. But, there's little that would surprize me anymore.

A friend of mine carried a bunch of multitools, screwdrivers, even a hacksaw,
in the bottom of a plastic bag without any trouble.
So much for security I guess :/

You know what I mean jackhole...those two were not "terrorists" and I could care less about U.S. owned "foreign soil"

Terrorist moniker gets thrown around for just about anything anymore...foreign or domestic...

In England, they tossed an 80-something old man out of a meeting of Blair's party, because he yelled "nonsense" at one of the speakers. Then they refused to let him back in, citing the provisions of some anti-terrorist act they have. The old boy had been a party activist his whole life.

Blair publicly apologised to him the next day, but it didn't do the chances for his new anti-terrorism package any good...

They were muslims and they sympathised with the Terrorist Movement as so stated when he was captured. Just because they do not get their orders from the top doesn't mean they aren't terrorists; JACKHOLE. OK define terrorist.

Of course not; you make a broad vague statement to defend a sorry peice of legislation and get pissy when I blow a hole in it your aregument. You can't argue with the fact so you dismiss it.
