What is a sticky topic?

stickys are reserved for topics that stick to the top of the forums like rules etc only moderators or admin can stick them. or suggestions by members hope that helps

Well, you see! I learned something today! That's what I like about this forum....though i'm not the brightest bulb in the pack, I, at least, have the compacity to learn!

And stickys are stickys because they have on-going informational effect and that they should always be at the top on the list of posts within each forum.
