I will be away for a while v

Guys I just wanted to give you a heads up, it is that time of year again and I am heading out west for several weeks of elk hunting. Yesterday I got the old smokepole sighted in and ready for the trip. Now all I have to do is get some things packed and ready hopefully we will have some good pictures to share with you guys during the trip. I will be leaving Sat. Morning and will be on intermittantly during the trip.

Wouldn't it be easier to find elk at the local lodge?

We don't have an elk lodge here in AC. but I just don't think the 2 legged game would taste as good as a nice elk steak would taste.
