Kahr PM series

Does anyone have any experience with the Kahr PM series in either 9mm or .40 SW? These are pretty small little pistols, and look interesting. With the flush mount mag, the capacity is only 5+1 on the .40, but that's what you'd get, if not one more with a snub nose...

just looking for opinions...

My brother has 2 Kahrs, an E9 and an MK9. The polymer frame Kahrs are good pistols, but not in the same league as the Glock as far as polymer pistols go. Durability is an issue. The all steel Kahrs are GREAT. Strong, durable, powerful, and accurate. Really take well to customization too.

I bought a PM9 about two months ago, to provide myself with a smaller gun for concealed carry, as my Glock 23 was too many times finding itself left in the truck, or in the safe because of its size, and mine(5'10", 142 lbs, 32" waist). It was recommended to me by a dealer I've dealt with for twenty years, and have great confidence in. I've put about 250 rounds through it, and it has performed flawlessly. I now carry it almost all the time, in my pocket in an Uncle Mike's pocket holster, or on my belt in a Don Hume holster. It took me a while to become natural with the double action pull (which was what I wanted), after years of shooting the Glock, but have finally gotten sufficiently natural with it to be comfortable carrying it. I got the nine instead of the forty, not for the one more shot, but because my dealer advised me that recoil with the forty made a quick second shot difficult.
He arranged for me to shoot one at a nearby range before I bought one, and I was quickly impressed with the point and shoot accuracy.
The gun smoothed up a lot in the first 100 or so rounds, and the manufacturer wants 200 rounds through it before maximum reliability is achieved.
I like the gun, trust it, and am glad I have it. I doubt I'll ever be as accurate with it at 25 yards as I am with the Glock, but for self-defense out to seven yards it does great. And I believe what they say, that a small gun in the pocket beats a big gun in the truck or safe, every time.
