Target's position seems to be based on an anti-Christmas policy directly from their CEO. When I was last visiting Target around Thanksgiving to see if the claims were true, I saw plenty of representation regarding the other December holidays and traditions: Hannakah, Kwanza (in books), Santa, Yule Logs ... there was hardly a mention of Christmas except in the music sold. No nativity scenes for sale.
