just want to say thanks

for g&g, I stumbled on this forum 4 years ago, many of you know my story, been out of the loop for guns and gun sports for many years, sort of stewing in my own angst for reasons of my own,. g&g has helped me through some hard times, with good friends ive never met, and brought me back to my basics, the love of gun ownership. good fellowship from gun owners, vets, cant name em all. So thank you g&G brothers in arms, and I mean my brothers, and thanks jesse for this forum. There are the big forums, but this is the best, good friends fellowship and the best gun knowledge around--------------------------merry Christmas my G&G brothers semper fidelis

Yer welcome, bro.

And...merry Christmas to you too and I hope you many, many peaceful ones ahead.

I remember way back when this site was was under Hank and the others and some branched off and went other directions.

I also miss those days but I understand that each of us has our own principals and things happen according to our own wishes. I wish all of the members...current and past...the best.

I've been a member of G&G since March, 2002, when Jesse took ownership of this forum, and even a few months earlier when GunandGame.Com was under Hank Springer's control. There's several members currently active here who were active on the previous version G&G, too. I've got to agree that there are several members who have either become inactive or dropped out that I miss being here. Papa G, Klaus, Oneastrix, Doglips (he's on temporary leave studying for a career change), and several others whom I cannot recall (CRS problem), but this forum has given me many hours of fun and pleasure. Thanks to Jesse and Chris for providing a top quality gun forum for us.
Previous to that time my brother in law suggested that I check into G&G to learn about my recently acquired Springfield 03A3 so that got me in contact with G&G first. Papa G was the most helpful person to me on that thread and I've never forgotten his encouragement to continue on the forum. Since then there's numerous persons on the current forum whom I consider my G&G friends. Seems that I know them and enjoy their company even better than some of my live (?) friends
Enough of this stuff. Anyway, 7mmag6, and many others here, thanks for the good memories as we've posted on various subjects and for the informaton many of you have taught me about guns, and many other subjects.:cheer:
With that I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!:ballons: :right:

What Oxford said, same here. I've been handing around G&G as "Bookman" since 2002, and a bit earlier on the old forum under another nom de guerre.

I visit other gun sites from time-to-time, but G&G is still the best gun forum on the web. It's the first one I go to. Thanks again, Jesse, for keeping us active.

And Ox, I miss Papa G and 1* too. Heck, I even miss Klaus a bit. . . .

I looked around on the old forums and I wonder where some of the old members went to...if they are OK...why they left, etc.

It's nice to see the new avatars show up even in the old forums.

Chris, it'd be nice if you could sticky the old forums so that we can look around them more later.
