Sunday morning and stirring chit up......

but I got to ask:

Bulletproof, why are you so busy resurrecting all of your/Logansdad's old posts and/or threads?

Heck, are you so hungry for amassing a larger post count that you feel you have to do this?

Just curious since a LOT of your old posts/threads, that you're now digging up, were worn out back when you first posted them as Logansdad.

Just curious, LOL.

I say let's post some new and relevant stuff.

Now that I stirred this up I also have to say that it's said with tongue in cheek and in jest....or is it?

OH....post edit: GO BRONCOS! STAMPEDE OVER DEM CHIEFS!

I was kinda of wondering about the old posts being resurrected too. It really doesn't make much sense to me either.

There might be some truth to that idea but I find it amazingly impossible to read past the 105th. paragraph and to keep any interest.

I say...gimme the Reader's Digest version and cut through 90 per cent of 'em, lol.

As far as dem Chiefs go, Ox...there won't be any ponies for those aging Chiefs to ride on today and "we" are gonna play John Wayne wid der butts.

Ewwww! that's just wrong!

"I find it amazingly impossible to read past the 105th. paragraph and to keep any interest."

Me to. I also find italics very annoying.

As has been eluded to in another post, there's always the ignore button if/when we're not interested in a thread or subject. I sure don't expect everyone to have the same interests as mine, nor do I think they should. It would sure be a boring world, there'd be short supplies for our hobbies, etc., and prices would go soaring high for our special interest supplies and equipment. I say let people have their own interests, styles, etc. and I'll do the same. Just don't knock mine if you're not interested and I won't knock yours. Now how did we get on this subject?:lucky:
But...later in the afternoon today we'll see who's the real football players and who's the pretenders. I'll let those young athletes decide that on the field. It could be that the Chiefs have some older players. But you and me, of all people, should appreciate what older players can do for the team. Nuff said for me on this subject till the game's played and then I hope to drop the subject because, after all, it's just a game.

Didn't get to watch it...got a call seconds before the kick-off My dad died.

Just couldn't get my head cleared soon enough to watch the game or care about much of anything.

I hope to catch the highlights tonight.

What can I say.....?

Dale...the results of this game is meaningless compared to what's happened to your dad. My condolences to both you and you and your wife during this very sad moment in your lives. I'm am really sorry about this.

Thanks, y'all.

I can think a little more clearly this morning.

I knew dad was dying and I predicted he wouldn't make it to the first of the year (actually it was the Doctors' comments saying there was nothing a hospital could do for him...I just accepted it as so).

I guess what got me was thinking that I am here in Arizona and my family is back there and they had the chance to be with him in his last minutes and I didn't and that I am not there for my mom when she needs support the most. I was feeling a little down over that.

Then my wise wife said that at least my last memories of him were ones with him still walking, talking, laughing, and etc. and not ones of him lying there in hospice. So, her comments helped me think more clearly.

Now it's just a matter of mom getting back with me when the services in Pennsylvania will be and my flight back there.

One thing I have come to agree with...no matter if you know someone is dying and you're never 100 per cent mentally prepared for it when it does happen.

But...once again, thanks for your thoughts and prayers.

I caught the sports highlights on ESPN this morning and the Denver and KC game was a good one, I guess.

If I picked up on their analysis correctly KC had their defense rolling about 95% and defense at about 80% whereas Denver was only rolling around 75% both D and offense.

There are just enough games left to make it up in the air as to how the division finals will play out or even the wild card for that matter.

It could prove interesting.

And, yes, Joe....Chicago is rolling strong right now.

Overall I think this is one of the more intersting years in NFL.

I can't remember a year where there were/are so many games decided in OT, one point wins, teams with 8-4 or better records,or blown leads in the 4th.

So, anyway, Ox...I got to hand the KC an 'attaboy' (as much as I hate to, lol).
