Talking Snow, snow, and more snow!

Had 10 (of snow) inches last week all in one session, then two more Friday and two more last night. I'm wearing out my small electric snow blower even before the season gets started proper. Usually it's the first week of January before we see this amount of snow, if at all.:jaw:

We had an ice storm here Thursday night into Friday morning. It sure looks this winter is going to be a "bad" one.

Does that make you want to move back to Dallas where snow is much less, if at all. :guitar:

Dale...Are you still shoveling when it gets up to 115 +/- in Phoenix? :guitar: Or just staying behind your expensive air conditioner wishing for cooler weather?
Seriously, I've lived here since 1965 and have to admit that I enjoy the varied types of weather we have. This snow is just a little earlier than usual, that's all. Of course, the kids all love this stuff. But for some reason these early snows mean I'll be freezing my butt off, and it's only down to around 25 deg F. I definitely don't like cold weather as much as when I was younger. Maybe I should be one of those snow birds and move out your way during winter's.
I wouldn't dare mention this stuff about cold weather to Ash or DANA because those guys would be laughing me off the web. :jaw:

Well, OX..when it gets to 115 I simply take off the sweat pants, sweat shirt and enjoy the cool weather, LOL.

No one in their right mind would run the A/C at 115 degrees...we MIGHT consider turning it on at around 120..but, just maybe.

We just suck it up.

But...no snow, he he he he.

Any Idea how we feel up here then?
It has actually not been a bad winter so far pretty mild (-15 c) right now

After reading the comments of everyone here, I'm now feeling bad for even bringing up the subject of too much snow. Hey! The piddling amount we got doesn't even get in the game compared to Troy, Johan Malan and DANA.
The temperature has to be minus 10-20 degrees below F, and the snow has to be one or two feet deep to even qualify for competition with those guys in the race.:jaw: :right:

we hit -26.8 C on the weekend according to the temp probes at the barn. that doesn't include the windchill either. ah well, we are through with this round of shipping so back to short days anyhoo. i have 6 foot drifts along my driveway from the snow blower. actual accumulation of snow in the yard is about two and a half feet. I AM READY FOR SUMMER!
