For the 1911's I own since Military Ball is dwindling I use Aguila Ammo....Both the 230 grain Ball and the 117 gr. ICQ , which is very Accurate, just more expensive than the Ball ammo .

not everyone knows that. people on this forum have assorted knowlege levels, and if i am explaining something to someone who is new to guns and the forum, a lot of people here would already understand what i am saying, but you dont always see them make a dumb comment. but anyways we are on the same page now and should stay on topic |

At Wal-Mart I get Remmington dirt cheap. Last time it was 40 bucks for 250 rounds of Remmington 230 gr FMJ or Hollowpoint. I bought two boxes and I am set. 1 box of FMJ and 1 box of hollowpoint. I also have a box of 50 Black Talons, Goldon Saber, Silver Tips, and Hydrashock.

Just got back from shooting the wolf .223 at the rifle range, I don't like it, it's not consistant at all. Bench rest and sand bags didn't improve it any.Just to be sure I wasn't having any rifle trouble I ran 20 south african surplus rounds thru and hit x rings 18 out of 20, wolf gave 7 out of 20.I dunno if I got a bad batch of wolf or not, but I won't feed my rifle any more of it.

I heard that Wolf has changed the coating on the cases, due to the problems people were having.
