Cool

You could by-pass the powder keg,or just don't get involved with threads that don't suit you.

I will up hold the law you can talk about any thing you want in the powder room, however, this is Jesses forum and attacks on other members will be grounds for getting booted, although only Jesse has that power. I agree with Jesses premise for this forum to be a family friendly site. Jesse is a nice guy and lets people yack about all kinds of stuff. We try to keep it pc free but within reason. Some moderators are more generous than others. I am not the generous type, my pet peeve is attacks by members on other members, and if I catch you you will hear about it

Though my opinon was not directly asked for, I noticed, as I read the page, there were several folks complaining about the politics being discussed in the powder keg. I just wanted to say that I fully agree with Rave. This is what the powder keg was created and the name was changed for....because things of a contraversial nature were discussed and ranted about. Frankly, I don't know why anyone would complain. If you don't want to talk about politics, then just keep your pie hole shut. I notice that though many don't like to talk about politics they sure don't miss the chance to talk about it or to slam someone because they disagree. C'mon folks, the powder keg is used for it's intended purposes, if you don't want to comment on a subject, why does it bother you if others do? None of us like to government censoring us, why do we want to do it to ourselves? 7MMAG6 is correct, Jesse is pretty free with the powder keg, we talk pretty much about everything...if it's okay with Jesse and it's okay with the moderators....then what's the problem? Just my two cents worth of thoughts on the subject.

You guys should see forums that don't have the foresight to add an off topic forum. It's not a pretty sight. Here if you don't care about politics you can just read all the other forums.

Although I don't care for the restrictions on the freedom of speech on some things here, and I see rules arbitrarily applied, I appreciate what Jesse and Chris have done.

I am very vocal....I admit that....but I, too, am tiring of the discussions of politics.

If people haven't figured it out all of our voices mean nothing to the politicians unless we have the cash to put in their pockets.

So, when someone says 'this' or 'that' about a political issue it's the same 'ol chit that will be hashed over and over again....and again in fifty years.

I fought bureaucracy for over 28 years.

I have seen very littlechange, if any, in politics by talking. DOING is what gets changes done.

That is one reason I try and skip over any thread or post in here that looks even remotely politcial.

The nice thing is that with these areas we can express our opinions and while we may toss out labels for political affiliations we don;t make personal attacks in a public manner

Well I'm glad you guys have a place to talk about Politics, it's a good thing to get stuff of you mind, and it seems everyone has a mind opinion of Politics. It's a free country.
As for me, I'll let you guys hash it out with all that.
I love of guns. And I love of talking about them.
To each his own.
