Thats awsome! If you haven't shot a m70 yet you'll love it.
I would like to tell you that my son got a savage .22 and a reminton express 20 ga. And my wife promised me that next year I could have an AR.

Oh and i got some underware too.

My sweet wife got me a gift certificate to my favorite gun store, and then asked if it was enough for what I wanted. Aren't women supposed to act like a sort of governor on our impulses? My wife must be missing that gene.

My gun safe had a good Christmas

There are four more Mosins in it to keep my 91/30 company, and another waiting out the 10-day period. I bought myself two M39 Finns (one with a bubba stock), my nephew a 1935 Tula hex-receiver 91/30, my younger son a Tula 1916 m1891, and my older son a re-arsenaled 1945 Ishevsk M44.

I remembered to thank my wife very profusely for the Finns, and ask her how she knew exactly what I wanted. I got away with that because the ammo's locked up.

And for some strange reason I got r/c scale vehicles: a speedboat, a Jeep, and an F150 Ford pickup. The pickup's cool; I ran it all over my mother-in-law's neighborhood last night. It has motor sounds, a horn, headlights and turn signals.

Well, I got an electric chainsaw - that'll come in handy for taking care of fallen limbs next hurricane season! Hehehe.
Got lots of shirts and a pair of shoes.
Bro-in-Law got me some .22LR ammo, good thing as Christmas wiped out my ammo fund this month.
He also got me a very nice pair of soft and supple black deerskin MC gloves, with the wide gauntlet cuffs to fit over my jacket sleeves and Thinsulate insulation inside, for cold weather use. From Fox Creek Leather - made in the US! Not Chinese junk. Gonna love these!

Got him a nice Dremel Tool set, with lots of extra goodies. I use mine a lot, for gun work and other household projects.

Best part of the day was the family getting together, and a nice holiday meal.

I got a new bandsaw. My wife was getting nervous about the circular saw blade chucked up in the drill press!

I got a nice universal gun cleaning kit, a staple/nail gun, and gift certificates to the local sporting goods store. I might have to pick up that Stoeger I've been looking at. I hope everybody had a Merry Christmas!

Toolman...I'm still laughing about that drill press you rigged up with a circular saw blade. Dang...that setup is enough to scare anyone into looking the other way. Your wife must love you enough to want to save you from an accident just waiting to happen.
Well...My SIL gave me a Rifle/SG cleaning kit to replace one I had which was worthless since I twisted the threads off an extension length with too large of a cloth rag stuffed inside the barrel.
And...my kids gave me a Craftsman 8" two-wheel bench grinder w/light.
And finally, my wife gave me a Right Angle Milwaukee grinder. Now I can really get with it cleaning the rust off my gun barrels.:insane:
No underware...no neckties...no cologne...no cigars...no booze.

Ruf, Maybe next year, if you are good again. Happy to hear most folks had a Merry Christmas. I got a pair of gloves, and a razor. Oh, and a lock blade knife with a LED light in it. Pretty cool.

My wife got me a 1000-watt surround sound system, a new Galco holster for my new Springfield .45 I bought last month, a couple of CD's, a couple of movies, ammo, and a better wallet than I have ever had.
My FIL got me some Glock and Springfield apparel, a Yugo M59, more ammo, and a Surefire flashlight. MIL got me a bunch of stuff I needed for the PD job, and my son got me a picture of his mother, himself, and I in a nice frame with "Daddys' Little Officer" in a brass plaque below it.
