You'll enjoy shopping and touring their sights. I've been to the Cabela's in KC, KS numerous times and always look forward to going back. They're located about 25 minutes from my home.
However, as in any business, you need to know prices of what you're shopping for because Cabela's is not always less expensive. What they do have is an unbelievable depth and width inventory. If you want something, they'll have it...and it's entertaining for all of the family members.:cheer:

Thumbs up

Dundee is about three hours away frome me, so visits are rare, but they are talking about building one soon in Grand Rapids. That will change things for me.

My trips to Cabelas are usually few and well planned. I always celebrate with an Elk Meat Sandwich.

Yeah, I can understand the prices being what they are,and I'll try real hard not to stop by there everyday after work. LOL If they stock everything they have in the shooting catalog,...well, I'll have to advance my alowance for about five years. Good thing I let my wife buy a horse, now I won't feel so bad.........

I haven't been to Claire in a long time. I'll tell my nephew about it. He's always up for a field trip.

Although I don't have a Cabela's near me I do live 10 minutes from Springfield Missouri, national headquarters for Bass Pro Shops so I got basically the same thing.

I did hear a rumor that Cabelas is thinking about opening a store here, in Bass Pro Shops back yard. That'd break my heart if I had 2 mega sporting goods stores to go too.
