Shaun; Yes, I'm feeling better, thanks. I stopped at the Flying J in Fairview on my way to California. We'll have to try to meet up one of these trips.

Hey Otter, glad to hear you're feeling better, I wish was! I've had this crap since the day after Christmas. That's also the same day I had to leave on a trip to Terminal Island, Ca. and Portland, Or. with a trainee in tow. We then had to go to Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta. We then flew to London, On. and picked up some trucks going to Charlotte, N.C. and finally flew\drove back home today-still coughing and hacking like a three-pack-a-day smoker in the middle of the Boston Marathon!

Otter...I hope you don't get lost in Richmond, MO during their rush hour. There'll be at least two redneck pick-ups and three coon dogs that will be on the road at that time in main street.::nod: That's just about 30 miles NE of my home.

Monday morning I'm leaving to go to Mancos Colorado, about 20 miles west of Durango, a beautiful ride across southern Colorado.

Fairview, Tn. on the way to Greensboro, N.C. for Tuesday. Beautiful ride, traded uniform patches with a Local LEO here in Tn, Visited Midway USA in Columbia MO. on the way out to Colorado and stopped in at a shop in Colorado for a visit and education. Too bad Kitty doesn't appreciate the ride through the mountains, he just sleeps through it.

Shaun; I knew you were up the street from here, but I didn't know it was 30 miles. I'm going to shower and breakfast in the morning and head for Greensboro. I stop here often, one of these trips we'll get together.
I'm usually in bed this time of night but I'm haveing a problem with insomnia, but I'm not going to lose any sleep over it.

I'm back in Vermont, on Saturday I left to go to Mancos Colorado, I got to Bradford Pa. and a 2005 Mustang crossed the centre line and went under my trailer, taking out some of the tires and bending the suspension. The woman driver was flown to Buffalo and was listed in stabile condition. I got the load transfered to another trailer and returned to Vermont on Monday. It was a bad accident and I'm glad to be home, my tractor will be ready to go soon and I'll get another trip soon.

Sorry to hear about the gal and your equipment, but glad you're ok. Are you running your own tractor and/or trailer, or working with someone else's?

I drive a company truck, the woman hit the left drive tires before she went under the trailer, we had to change a bent radius rod and a tire and wheel, then align the tractor. The trailer is one of the older trailers in the fleet and the boss hasn't decided if he'll fix it or trade it. It will need a complete undercarriage and one slider rail to repair.
I spent a couple of hours on Sunday talking to the Medevac pilot who flew the woman to Buffalo. Great guy.
Kitty and I were alright, the passenger in the mustang was treated and released from the hospital in Bradford, it could have been alot worse. If she had come out a little sooner she would have hit me head on.
