Kitty is adjusting to the new truck, we're on our way to Jacksonville Florida to deliver Monday morning. We just stopped in Waterloo Iowa to have lunch and get online to check in here.

Resaca, Georgia, Sunday morning, after a Hollywood shower and breakfast, I'm headed to Jacksonville Florida to deliver Monday morning. I may have to take a day off there as I'll be out of hours.

Otter, I haven't posted before but I have been enjoying your posts since I joined.
I have a confession to make, before I retired, I was a truck driver; some over the road then gave it up to take care of my Dad.
I'll always miss the road and reading your posts, gives me a sense of being back grabbing gears and smelling deisel again.
Keep it up for all us arm-chair adventurers on the forum that wish they were riding shotgun with you and Kitty.

Regards, Snuffy

Change of plans, I loaded out of Waterbury Vermont going to California, three stops, Burlingame, Torrence, and Montibello. I didn't want to go to California so dispatch had me meet another driver in Gretna Nebraska and switch trailers with him, now I'm in Sergeants Bluff Iowa on the way to Le Mars to pick up.

Give me a little heads-up next time you're getting ready to roll into California on I-10, Otter. I'm working in Blythe now, right after you cross the Colorado River.

I'm in Jackson Minnesota, I deliver in the morning then go to H.Q. Estherville, I think I may quit and go back to Vermont, too many late nights and I just can't do all nighters anymore.

Howdy, Otter! I'm one of the new guys, and just saw your thread, thought I'd get on and say Hi. You ever get out by Grove or Jay, Ok., give us a yell. The number is 9182443231. We got a decent little range out behind the house. Scotty

Hey Otter where abouts on the creek do you live?
My Kids have all gone to Otter Valley H.S. and I use to drive for Terry Hill out of Milton, Vt had a Nice Volvo 770 with 18 spds and a 500 cat. 13'6" at the dash and I could stand up to put on my pants. Air ride cab and an air ride Seat. Super truck, miss it. Miss the Sunrises and Sunsets in a different place everyday, the most.

Terry only had two Volvo 770's the green one or the black one? I live in Milton and worked for Terry Hill Inc. for ten years 3 months and 11 days before I came to Heartland Transportation. I'm thinking the green 770 Volvo had a Cummins and the black one was the one with the Cat and 18 speed. The Black one was driven by "Boomer." Then a chap from the Rutland area, we have to know each other, I drove number 33, then 90, then 95. My YL "Alison" rode with me.

I took the truck from "BOOMER", I had the Black one #42.
No doubt we know each other.

I remember you, I don't remember your name, but you also have an electronic back ground, I'm a HAM radio operator and had six or seven antenni on the truck. I remember talking about Camp Perry with you.
