the C172RG one is one I spent time reviewing as that is what I own and I have to wonder why the pilot did not mechanically put the gear down as you have multiple systems to put the gear down.

Shaun; I remember the Piper on top of the Cessna, it happened in Plant City Florida about six years ago, my YL and I were in Lakeland for the night Sunday night and we saw it on the local news Monday morning. The student pilot flying the Cessna landed short of the runway after the Piper set down on top of him on short final.
