No, it's more likekly a mistake--phishing would either be a slightly different URL or a bogus phone number or some other attempt to get your info--that URL is definitely PayPal--I would go ahead and contact PayPal and let them know they are screwing up

I used google to link to paypal. The link looks similar.

It would do them no good for me to contact them as I do not use PAYPAL nor would I ever use them.

I got similar things, also having never used paypal. Checked with my credit cards to see if there were any irregularities. Thankfully none, but I sure didn't follow any links either.

If you don't use paypal..good, but contact the security dept. and forward them the e-mail as it contains info needed to track the Phishers!

Forward the email to spoof@paypal.com. They will tell you whether it is legitimate or not.

The link only says PayPal in text but if you move your cursor over it in email (not in this forum since it's a cut and paste) and look at the address in the bottom left hand of the window WITHOUT clicking it, it's not PayPal.
They (the theives) do that with eBay and PayPal. I get 'em all the time.
It's a way to get your username and password cause if you're not paying attention, you'll enter it in their fake PayPal page. Then they can log onto your PayPal or eBay acct.

EVERY hacker I have ever met in real life, not online, has always been a weak, pathetic excuse for a human being.Their ONLY source of power comes from the annonymity of a keyboard, in face to face, real life situations they're as useless as teets on a boarhog............

Most good hackers are from Russia. They take out-dated pieces of junk computers and use them to hack. THey are the best hackers in the world and they have nothing to loose.:gangster:
