Seems reasonable to me. It may come across as a little harsh to someone just trying to get rid of something, but I can see where the policy saves all kinds of headaches.

dont know about that troy but as a moderator for this forum jesse has allowed a certain trust to me, Im an old marine, and I will uphold the law as the admin sees fit

I'm not aware of any recent issues, but there have been a few cases a while back where I was the first mod to catch something and the newbies who posted without reading the rules had the nerve to argue with me. I lost many IQ points one night because of it.

Basically you get 1 warning - the rules rou read when signing up.

Folks you don't know what a blessing it is to have a forum without selling. Eventually a commercial forum gets so much business related traffic that it cares about nothing else, which leads to covering up complaints about forum vendors and censoring any advocacy of products that don't sponsor the forum.

Many of us visit multiple forums and can buy and sell stuff elsewhere. Or we can make contact here and take our business to E-mail. I consider this forum my home on the net, and as such I try my best to leave business at the door, even if I talk about it from time to time.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a buy/sell/trade forum. I did not say a commercial forum, but one where someone who wanted to sell a piece from their collection or was looking for one could list that. The decision is ultimately that of the owner(s). I fully understand the reasons for such a decision and respect it.

I think from an insurance view, jesse has decided to not deal with that issue, I think thats true you will have to ask him. As a moderator I will enforce Jesses rules
