romanian ak wasr10 magazines

does the romanian ak gpwasr-10 accept ANY double stacked mags? could i get a drum magazine?...my mags are starting to wiggle already on the ak...would welding a thin peice of metal towards the top of the mag on both sides, making it fit more snug work or would it disrupt loading...also instead of making a new sks thread does the american made fixed magazines work as well as the fixed yugoslavian sks mag that came with it??? i liked the ten round(since im stuck with my 5rd detach) but dont want to spend the money on it if they dont work

if you have the wasr that only accepts lo caps, then the answer is NO.

This site says it will take all AK mags and 75 rnd Drums !
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AK47

Mags do not fit tight in any AK, hence they Rattle somewhat,It may not be the Magazine, it may be the Receiver "Spreading" or worn a bit around the Mag well.
Don't try to weld the Mag, not worth the effort or worth ruining a mag, since you can buy mags for 12 bucks or less, try a new mag and see how it fits. IF a mag functions properly, what more could you want ?

My hi-cap WASR's will not accept drums.

My favorite mags for any AK are now the 20rd Hungarian mags. Fit just right...look nice too.

If your mags wobble in your WASR get the Bulgarian 30 waffle mags....fit nice...do not rattle. Been there, done that.

yeah after i think about it i guess it doesnt have anything to do with mags...adding a little peice of metal would just make the spread wider...the rattle aint no thing i just like my rifles being solid...and besides that its fine
