no its not a threat its a kid trying to get someones attention. I can't remember how many times I would draw things as a kid with arrows from my desk to my teacher. I never did it and never would have I just had a good imagination at the time. Its just with technology kids today can step it up and think about it with a digital picture you can do anything on a PC -- I can take pictures that were taken during my sniper training and caption them with Murder Inc. does that mean anything no it doesn't. One of BRG's buddies used to post wild pictures of him posing with his guns was he a threat no just someone who wanted to put something out to get attention.

IT's NOT Mental it's Discipline This just goes to show how much this country is being over medicated and controlled by people. Why do we always jump to medical problems when its something to do with personal choice and control. It's kind of like saying are you feeling sad and depressed here's a script. Verse saying get outside do something that makes you feel good and get over it.

its not because you think this kid has issues, its because you seem to have no problem having someone arrested when they have not committed a crime.

Show me where in my postings I agreed with the arrest. I only tried in vain to state my point of view that I think this kid has mental issues that needed to be dealt with, a cry for help was answered, hopefully this kid gets the attention he needs. I pulled the sentence, " I dont care really what happens to this kid, as long as he is kept away from firearms, and prevented from harming himself or others." why should he loose his consititutional rights when no crime has been committed

who says an adult wasn't around when the picture was taken - also last time I checked an adult did not have to be around when the guns were in the same house.

and who said there was? there's a lot to this story we don't know, if an adult had been around and allowed this child to take a threatening picture like he did, he is just as guilty of the threat as the kid is. I find it very hard to believe any resposible parent would allow their child to do this. If the kids parent allowed them, they need help too.

hahahahahahaaa If you really don't see a threat in someone surrounding themselves with 9 firearms and calling themselves the angel of death on wings of lead, there's a good reason you arent in law enforcement any more.

Pulled from the article -- even the school does not consider it a threat so it definitely gives the parents grounds to stand on for false arrest. and defamation of character. "The photos were very disturbing, and while the content was not a direct threat, we just felt it was important for us to take appropriate disciplinary action," Kaufman said, adding the student could be expelled."

Tack this up to extremely violent video games and a Hollywood out of control. This kid is a victim of trying to be like Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt. My guess is the arrest is going to be overturned and his record expunged after carefull review. This kid just is immature and thinks he needs to emmulate what Hollywood considers cool and manly. Best thing is his parents and him get counciling.

i agree, what threat? did he threaten you, did he threaten anybody? im sure it would have been okay with you if he had only 1 gun in the picture with him. you can read what ever you want into the picture/ label of the kid, but no crime has been commited, therefore the jackbooted thugs have violated his rights!

oh no, the dreaded councilling! Touchy feely has no place in this kids life according to Shaun, he needs discipline, maybe a work camp, or a chain gang? Emotional distress is a fraud apparently, nothing a little blood sweat and tears wont cure.

weak minded my *** -- weak minded means relying on drugs and counseling, verse the strength required to rely on themselves and personal discipline
