just thought Id throw this in the army and marines have a long standing good natured fued with each other. For those that dont know the marines are trained to fight in the literals. that is the coasts of invasions, but also to do the real fast combat in short order, thats why you see many marines getting wounded in Iraq. sort of qiuck reaction force. The army is trained to fight other armies, not talking small stuff but really big scale. for instance in the gulf war 1 it was mainly army. they dont move fast but consider all alternitives and go in with overwhelming force, 500 abrams and atry up the wazoo. If you happen to get in the way you are toast, they are trained to destroy other armies on a vast scale. huge infantry assaults and mechanized forces . Hence the term the marines do the fighting the army gets the credit
