welp the grand national gun and knife show was in tulsa today! my brother and i went. my usual gun show partner (my brother in law) had to miss this one cause the timing of his R&R's from iraq didnt match the gun show schedule...any way,the show was really pretty good! dispite the fact that they only had about 300 tables. i just cant wait for the big show to come back in the fall! prices werent that bad either surprisingly. the one that caught my eye most was a romanian "dragunov" with the soviet issue scope for $368 ! sadly i only go to the spring shows for reloading componants and i only took $200 with me. but i did get some good prices on my componants! i got some 190 gr 30 cal btsp for 16 per hundred and got some 210gr sjhp'sfor my 41 mag! so im stocked up for a fun filled summer of shooting up all my brother in laws trees! hahaha

Shotgun news had a sotry about one a while back that was "converted" to .308. Only took about $2000 worth of gunsmithing to get it up to a the accuracy of an off the rack Savage. Is that a common problem or just a problem for the ones that have been converted?

Lately, there has been a string of gun shows. Seem like every weekend there is something going on. One show I got a bunch of deals and that was it. Sometimes you get lucky and see a deal like the draganuv. I think the internet has the best prices, but it is cool to see everything and walk away with new stuff. I have yet to see a decent AK for less than $300.

yup,it was a good price, and ive never seen one less than $600-ish in my life. their accuracy does leave alot to be desired though (in comparison to other weapons) straight out of the factory the russian drag's were barely capable of 2 moa. but that is still accurate enough to get the job done. personally i dont care!...they just look COOL! :full:
