Nor should you, considering that it is the morally correct choice. I would have a clean conscience before my daughter, my wife, and my God in such an instance.

On a side note Fetus=Latin for baby.

Killing a fetus just sounds better.

Pointing out the origin of a word doesn't redefine it.

Frankly, I don't think killing a fetus sounds very good, either. But if there's going to be honest debate, neither side should be able to rewrite the meaning of emotionally-charged words to suit their agenda.

Both sides in this debate have chosen labels that cast them in the best light.

I think "pro-life" is a total crock. They aren't pro-life; they're specifically anti-abortion. I don't see them rallying against the death penalty, against war, for better health care.

"Pro-choice" is a little more honest, in that most people on that side aren't actively trying to encourage women to have abortions; they just want to keep that option open for them.

You're right on about pro-life but not about pro-choice.

I'd venture a guess that most "pro-choice" believers, especially politicians, aren't pro-choice when it comes to my choice to own and carry a gun to protect myself.
They definetly aren't pro-choice when it comes to me being able to choose the best school for my son.

Note that I did say a "little" more honest.

But in this case, it amplifies the truth.

As a former fetus, I agree.

Then stop doing so.

Again, redefining.

And there are a lot that DO actively encourage abortions. There is a large amount of money in that industry.

For someone who was done having his say several messages ago, laplante, you're sure hanging in.

I believe I defined our respective stands quite well:

(You think) " ...an embro is a potential baby, and you don't believe it's right to stop it from becoming one.

Fair enough. I happen to think there are rare times when it's warranted."

Do you have anything constructive to add to that, or are you simply going to keep picking away because I've ruffled your feathers?

Snicker, snicker, guffaw. Yeah, right. As if you even have the capability of doing so at this point. I needed the laugh.

I'm still right, though. You are not going to change that fact. Eventually, you will find out just how right I am. I'm glad I will be on the right side of that judgement.
