Improving the Hi-Point

I was just on the Advanced Technology site and I ran across thishttp://atigunstocks.com/product-hipoint.html
Makes it look a lot like the Beretta CX Storm. How about one now Joe?

You wouldn't be a Chevy man by chance, Mr. Bowtie? If so, you'd like the 66 Chevelle sitting out front.

I sure am, and YES I would like it. I am actually in the market for another vehicle. I want something with a little more clearance than my 1987 Camaro.

That is very alright! I'm very interested in it. It'll cure some problems associated with the factory stock.
If the price isn't bad, I may well order one.

Instructions:

Step one: Carefully remove the Hi-Point receiver and barrel from the factory stock. Set them aside.
Step two: Discard the factory stock.
Step three: Discard the Hi-Point receiver and barrel.

Improvement cycle complete! :joker:

I guess it would be an improvement but I can't see why you wouldn't be better off just buying yourself a Ruger PC9. They can be had new for about 400 to 450.00.

At ATI, we tried to make an improvement on a fun plinker. We recognize that the purist won't like 'black' guns, but we don't pretend to try and improve on a custom Purdey! We make affordable replacement stocks, since not everybody can spend the whole day in the garage with a Dremel.

Check out our improvements and our AK-47 and Mini 14 collapsible folding stocks, due for release in August 2007!

Many thanks for the info, Tara! And a big welcome to G&G!
Gotta love it when a company rep comes on board the forum.

Yes it is always good to see those in the gun industry outside the shop in the forums; welcome Tara. Hope you become a contributing member of Gun and Game.

BTW does the stock come with a bag of cement? Sorry, couldn't resist. To each his own; the stock is an improvement though.

I wish I had bought the (snicker) HiPoint carbine I saw at a couple gunshows ago...guy wanted $100 out the door for it.

Got tired of looking at it in his shop!

If I had known about these new stocks I probably would have bought it (snicker)

We got 2 gunshows in this area next month....maybe I can find one with the stock already on it....(GUFFAW!)

i post regularly on the hi point forums and there are some fit and finish issues with the ATi conversion. some users have had to do alittle trimming and fitting to make it work. I prefer the factory stock because im a lefty.
