I got up this morning and, as usual, I was in a real lazy mood and I didn't put on my safety glasses when I trimmed my nose hair with the weed whacker and I'm paying for it now.......dang.

I learned the hard way once -- I was at a advance Officers firearms training course and during a round of spread fire I caught two bounce backs. One in the glasses and the other in the leg lucky there weren't any injuries though -- always wear them even if your not shooting close up
Eye protection is a key to most things in life, I know from personal expierence and the lost tear duct that it is crucial to wear eye protection. Althought I did not loose mine from firearm related, anywhere a place you can loose an eye, or mess your vision up its just not cool not to wear eye protection
