Yeah...the media kept referring to the Domestic Violence issue. I don't see this ruling hindering an officer from handling the domestic violence call. If there is evidence of domestic violence, the officer has probable cause to enter the house to handle the situation. But that doesn't give an officer the right to go search a bedroom down the hall or something of that nature.

Interesting that it was Roberts' first dissent.

I agree that the domestic violence issue is a bit of a red herring.
