The only thing we ever ran up the flag pole at high school was a guy's pants after we relieved him of them.

In the old days, Flying a Foreign flag on American soil if it wasn't at an Embassy was the symbol for War or the winning of a battle over American forces such as what happened at the Alamo. Any American hoisting a foreign flag should be Charged with Treason and Sedition.
