This is part of the reason I've been buying guns that use a standard round(AR-15, G3, SKS, AK). I atleast want to make sure I can find ammo for what I have no matter what. Something very very bad is going to happen in the next few years. And I think every person in the world will be affected by it. The ME seems like Europe before WW1 started, a big powder keg. One little spark is all thats needed.

Big IF , but if it does come down to war on our soil, be it from within, or outside, there's more than a few Americans that are armed and willing to take up the fight if need be, I firmly believe it is this reason the cowardly terrorists haven't done more since 911 like they are in the EU and elsewhere where the civilian population has been all but completely disarmed.

I agree. There are a lot of gun crazy mainiacs who are looking for an excuse to fight. Look at this forum for example. Also, on a smaller scale, the Revolutionary War.
