What Burns Me is the fact that an Illegal Entry into the U.S. could now be made Legal , But let you or me do something wrong in the slightest and we get Locked up with a permanent record for the rest of our Lives and with the New Patriot Act it is even worse ! We NO Longer have Common Sense Laws in America for Americans ! It is Not just Mexicans either, Lots of Chinese , and South Americans are Illegally in This country working low paying Jobs that we should Be having Welfare recipients working at instead of getting a free lunch for being Lazy and worthless. This country is in Deep Doodoo and only some of us Informed people realize it !

Shaun is correct, this is the only "right" thing the government can do. anything less is unsatisfactory and I am not pleased. once again, the repubs, and of course, the dems, screw Americans who work so hard for what they have. I wish we could vote them all out! But, fat chance, the American public is too stupid and the voteing machine are too rigged. The people who do speak their minds are considered anti-American or anti-patriotic. The Admin have turned the country against the type of thinkers who are the very foundation of our democracy, the challengers. If you don't agree with what we think then you are crazy or un-American and that is how a lot of America thinks.

Let us not forget that the people who stood up for what they truely valued, the people who were the challangers were the same people who founded this country. They were the first Americans. They did not care what people thought of them, they did what they had to do and what they knew was right. What happended to that virtue. WHat ever happend to "I can never tell a lie" What happend to we "will not stand for evil teariny"-Churchill. What ever happend to the real Americans who picked us up and took us to new plateu. There used to be people who had virtue and stood proudly while they built this country on morals and conviction of one's beliefes. WHat do you think they would say when they see the country is run by lobbiests who hand out freebies to the Congress and the H.O. Reps. What do you think they would say when we don't even know why we are fighting.

Boortz has the best solution for this problem I have heard that actually might work if it was followed:

1) Deny all government social benefits to illegal immigrants except in the case of Emergency Lifesaving Medical Treatment.

2) Severely punish employers who hire illegals.

Ummm...we already pretty much have laws like that. they aren't being enforced. So obviously, we need some NEW laws to not enforce.

Troy, I think you may be onto something there. Imagine how warm and fuzzy the politicos will feel haveing "done something" to deal with this problem. Of course, no one expects them to enforce the new laws....that might hurt someone's feeling and change thier vote...oh, i forget, criminals can't vote....yet.
