SOG and the Dragunov

Yes yes BRG3. I know I know, this is not a Dragunov  . Ok, what SOG sells is the Romak 3 correct? Cause they got them for $595 with the scope and $495 without. How good of a deal is this?

They were out of stock last I checked about a month ago. May want to check with them to see if they are back in stock before visualizing it in your safe. I wanted one too!

I don’t own one…nor have I ever had the opportunity to handle one, however I would very much like to purchase one, and I have heard that they are fairly accurate, at one time I was researching the rifle and came across this page that has some handy information for perspective buyers, as well as some nice pics of a rifle that the author did slight work on to improve the look a bit.

In addition you may find this information to be interesting if you happen to take it to be true…but I will say it is not the first time I’ve heard some one who has access to both say the same thing.

I want one too. Ammo is cheap and the gun is easy to take care of.

Those prices are the best public wholesale prices I've ever seen. Expect to pay about $50 more or so in shipping and dealer fees, which is entirely fair.

Well, the whole deal depended on something else, which wont happen right now, so oh well. However, I do plan to take about $700 with me to the next show, so maybe I'll get lucky. I've still got a long list of guns I want to buy. A Sig 226, a M-14, a Romak 3, a Romanian RPK, and build a 20" AR. I do however think I'll have to sell some guns first. Like for the M-14 or a Romak I'll need to sell my G3 for part of the money. I can easily buy a $1000 gun if I already have $500 to start out with.

Your guns and your money, but I wouldn't sacrifice a high cap 308 for a low cap proprietary magged x54 semi-auto that you'd have to clean (and not just the bore) every time you shot the only cheap ammo.

An M14, well that's another story. I couldn't, of course, because then I wouldn't be BattleRifleG3.

Seaking of high cap mags, do those 30 rounders work well in the G3?

IT doesn't matter because you are getting rid of that gun right?

I think there may be some ex-military ones, but the aftermarket ones I had were no good. Traded them to a guy who happened to have his best results with them.

I prefer to use a standard size rather than a large size.

Well, the ones that Cheaper Than Dirt has are the 30 round steel ones, so I'm guessing they arn't aftermarket, but surplus.
