Feel like a new man

I have successfully stopped smoking.:right: Also, I work out 3 days a week and eat a strict high protein diet. Soon, I am going to start really running a lot. I feel like a new man.

I smoked for 7 years.

GG. My father-in-law had a stroke in Jan., he was only 52. He had smoked for probably 30-35 years. On the flip side my Dad is almost 60, and has smoked for over 40 years. He retired about 5 years ago, a few months before they gave everyone a physical. The doctor told him he was in better shape then most college students he had seen.

My granmother was in her 70`s and still smoking, she said if it was gunna kill her, it`d better hurry up.. I smoked for near 30 years and stopped 3 years ago, it`s a wise choice to stop.

glad to hear that SKS. My gramma smoked for 50 years and when she was 70 she quit cold turkey after getting a bad cough.

My grandmother smoked for a while and died of fluid in the lungs at like maybe 70. Everyone was shocked so I can really be thankful that I think I finally quit that crap. I can already breathe better

Good job Sks! Stick to it and don't give in to the cravings. I've been smoking for about 12 years now, and I'm thinking about trying to quit again sometime soon.
