I got ring

worm from washing my dog whats the best treatment (shudder) and what do I do for the dog. Man am I lucky surgery viruses ringworm

I think you should be able to get some antifungal ointment to help get rid of it at just about any drugstore.

I just thought of something. I remember the docs in the Corps would give ya motrin to "cure" anything. I bet they prescribe it for ringworm too!

If you don't want to go to your doctor, swab the area with colorless iodine. Try to avoid sweating, as it will spread the eruptions. STAY AWAY FROM OTHERS..... ringworm is contagious.

You sure the pooch didn't get into some poison ivy? I have a co-worker who got covered in the crap last year - really had her messed up for a time.

yep and if the motrin didn't do it they gave you tylenol or benidril. makes one wounder why we pay so much for perscription drugs when these three "cured" every thing that ailed us in the corps :insane:
