A mile in 8:28. turns out the criteria is not 8:10, but 8:30.

It was funny, since we were using a length of uneven sidewalk as the track, I was supposed to run to a certain point, then turn around and come back. I turned around at the quarter-mile point and wound up having to run back from my start point.

Also, due to the cercumstances surrounding the past two days' events, I am not certain that I need a cell phone, if only so I won't be tethered to my house to recieve calls from my superiors.
