I just moved to Bakersfield, CA a couple months ago. I've got a Marlin model 60 in .22LR and want to find a place close by outside where I can shoot cans. Can somebody please tell me somewhere close by where I can go shoot some cans? I would rather find a place that is not a normal range for this, you know somewhere I don't have to pay anything, but there won't be a problem for me shooting there.

I live out on the west end of Ming, close to Gosford. Yeah the airport isn't too far at all. I was out the other day I went north on coffee to 7th standard and kept going east. I was on the top of a hill with a bunch of cows and oil machinery, but didn't really find a place where I could pull off the road and pop off a few rounds.

I'll take a look at that .22rimfire.com or whatever its called also.
