today i fell in love!...

yup! i fell in love and at walmart no less! hahaha as i was walking in the door i heard this deep menacing growl. i turned around just in time to see a 1968 pontiac GTO fully restored to show car condition! this thing was a pearl white with dark blue and light blue contrasting pin stripes. it had white interior (leather!) with a sky blue accents. this thing was absolutely PERFECT! had original looking wheels with old school tires...none of those low profile tires on this one! i have never seen a 68 gto in this kind of shape! i know a guy who has a dead 67 gto in his front yard...the 68 made me almost wanna go buy the 67. it was truely an amazing sight!

Old GTOs are the best! Did it have a 4 speed, you can tell when it moves if its automatic (yechh) . Was it at least 400cubes? Standard was a 350, still not too bad( It has a plaque sometimes with the cubes, yeah cubes not that commie metric system). Those old GTOs were tanks compared to Mustangs, ran better and much stronger. Heilung

Go for the 67! After spending $15 or 20,000 restoring it at least you got something. Lots of new replacement stuff is available. Heilung

I had two Pontiac Tempests (same body style as GTO's)

Had a '67 Sky Blue Coupe...389 4bl...auto...headers...Cragars...white letter Goodyears.

Had a '70 Black coupe...350 4bbl...3 spd...headers...Factory mags...white letter Goodyears...had alot of fun in both of them but the '70 was my fav!

Ever have too many projects that some get put to the back burner for another day? Sitting in the garage on 4 flats is '65 Chevy Impala SS Convertable w/30K miles. Too many toys and not enough money.
