Arrow Compensator trouble...

O.K. i got my 30 round mags, compensator, and scope mount today. Im not very happy with with Centerfire, i told them that i didnt want the scope mount but they sent it anyway!!! I cant be that mad though...i put it on and i like it...i just need to test it to see if it stays at zero. Now to the question at hand...i got the comp. but it needs some fitting. Do i have to move the front mount back to get the comp all the way on? Or do i have to file it on both the top and bottom of the comp to make it fit? Ill try to get some pics up soon it looks SO BAD@$$...i think i came!!! For the talking about the "Wana Play?" coment...its just something that came to mind..trust me im not going to freak a leak and nuckin go futs and shoot at random things!!! ok the "shot web" stuff...its from a post on 4chan.org /b/...its a picture of spiderman asking how to "shot web" ...thats it...no more to look into...i jsut like to say wierd stuff to people, its my thing...thank you for your help!!!

Well now that you have established that, I feel a bit better. As I'm sure you've noticed by now, we ALL take firearms safety very seriously here, and every gun owner should. Any gun has alot of power that YOU, the owner, are ultimately responsible for. As far as the compensator goes, is it a thread on, or does it lock onto the barrel with screws? Does your Mak have a threaded barrel for that matter? I can't remember if they made a Mak variation that had the threads and bayonet lug removed or not... ( ie: where you can screw on compensators, muzzle breaks, etc ) I wouldn't think you would have to file it down, but I could be wrong. I've been thinking about getting one to replace my slant muzzle break, but haven't gotten around to it yet.
I think what set people off with the "shot web" thing was the fact that none of us knew what you were talking about, and it was obvious. Inside jokes are a bit funnier when atleast someone else knows what you are talking about!

The MAKs have no lug and the threads for the screw on comps are milled off. This on has a pin to secure it onto the muzzle. It said on the Centerfire website that it was FOR the MAK...so it will go on but im not sure how to get along doing that...i dont want to screw it up...

Here is a link to the comp...http://www.centerfiresystems.com/ind...PROD&ProdID=96

you should get the slant compensator. there is one on gunbroker, and since our barrels are not threaded, it comes with an adapter and that adapter is threaded. Im sure it is easier to put on, and looks great
