Thumbs up

Jerry...I read the entire link. The article seemed to offer encouraging news relating to China's environmental managers beginning to recognize the economic need, and benefits, to clean up their environment.

First of all this action would benefit Chinese citizens...and on a world wide scope...China's expense to clean up their environment would equate to fairer pricing for goods shipped to foreign markets where they're including environmental clean-up expenses in their price structure. It would put them closer to playing on the same "ball field" with their exported goods costs.

I agree whole heartedly Ox. It's just too bad our standard of living (for lower middle class) has to suffer while the playing field is leveled.

China didn't drag herself out of the 18th century to where she is today by huggin' trees. However, even I know the value of trees......but, a panda bear? Who cares about a dumb bear? It ain't like we ain't got plenty of bears. One kind of bear is enough. Get the money!
