Winchester To Stop Production...

The owner of my local gun store told me today that Winchester stopped manufacturing their 94 carbines and their 1300 line of shotguns. My heart literally stopped. I've been saving for a 1300 Defender for the past 6 months, and I finally have enough money. Now I have to track down the perfect one, the 8-shot synthetic that comes with a pistol grip. Ah, what a bummer...

This is kind of old news, but very sad.... I figure someone will come along and get things rolling again for the Winchester name. We can hope.

If the model 70 goes out of production I may get a mob and go rampageous.
I like that site too. Hope the winchester name can be saved.

I'll bet you they start producing them again in a couple months, but with the majority of production done overseas...

they have only stopped production of the guns made in the U.S. . that includes the model 70, 94, and the 1300.
