Polish 1953 carbine?

A local gunshop near me has a nice, short, good condition Polish Mosin Nagant carbine, made in (i think) 1953. It's definitly in the 50's. They're asking $150 for it, so it'll run me $175 after taxes, plus trigger lock.

I've already got an old 91/30 i picked up at Big 5, so I'm not desperate for a Mosin like I was, but the thing isn't that accurate - like three inch groups at 25 yards, and i can hit a dime every time from that far with my 10/22.

Should I spring for it and buy the thing? What kind of accuracy should I expect?
