| Super Moderator ![]() | Interesting. I think Rufus would give a "hear hear" to that too, as Hyundai and his beloved Kia are together now and their cars are mechanical copies of each other. Lexus likewise is simply a trimmed up series of Toyotas.

| I am also not surprised to see Hyundai on that list. My wife drives a '03 Elantra GT 5-door. It has about 55K on it and has only has only been to the deal once since we got it. |

| Senior Member | Not surprised one bit that Ford, Chevy or Dodge didn't make the list. You know a truck is crap when you buy the Off Road version to use as a work truck and when all the front ends need aligning after 10k miles the dealer tells you that the vehicles WEREN'T made for that kind of use. Yep the dealer told us the 4x4 4dr cab Rangers weren't made to be driven off road in the sand and mud every day.

| Senior Member | Also remember back a few years ago when all the GM's started having paint problems; chipping and peeling away? The reason for this was that one executive figured he could either dilute or cut back the paint mixture and save millions for the company; which he did. Then a few years went by and the paint started chipping, cracking, peeling etc.... Then the factory recalls came and his decision cost the company more than he initially saved. Quote:
I liked the truck overall as functionability and size, but there were some issues with it in the design that would not be favorable as one who would want the vehicle to last longer than the warranty.

| Just got a Hyundai Tiburon and I love it. Very smooth and easy for learning to drive a 5 speed. |
